Learn MoreI was born and raised in Central Florida and graduated from UCF in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. My career path has included teaching dance in the public school system, being a stay‑at‑home mom, running a small online business, and managing my family’s Airbnb. Currently, I work as a dance fitness instructor at a local barre studio and teach dance in after‑school programs in Orlando. Most recently, I have returned to school as a full‑time student at the University of Florida, where I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Web Design. This program supports my transition from teaching into digital media and design, allowing me to combine creativity, problem‑solving, and user‑focused design in a new career direction.
My current focus is on building knowledge in web design as I transition from teaching into the digital landscape. I aim to create a portfolio that reflects my growth and showcases my developing skills.
Dance and music have always been a big part of my life. I enjoy teaching, choreographing, and exploring new styles of music for creative inspiration.
I love traveling to new places and spending quality time with my family. Exploring different cultures and making memories together is on of my favorite things to do.
I enjoy learning new skills, especially in web design and digital media. Building knowledge in this area helps me grow creatively and supports my career transition.

Through my education at the University of Florida in the Web Design Master’s program, I am developing the skills and knowledge needed to support this change.
